Marriage and the Misconseption of Sex

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

—Hebrews 13:4 

It seems today we all have a misunderstanding of what sex is and who its meant for. yes, we could blame, TV, movies, and Internet even SCHOOL for being misguided. although TV and movies entertain the thought of sex, exploit it and gives us lustful thoughts that are appealing to the eye. it is still are job to remain pure until death or until marriage. School, just like the other reasons make it more acceptable, educating our people not about god but about sex. even though it seems innocent teaching us the differences and diseases and protection. its another window opened in our mind TO WANT TO KNOW. as did eve in the garden of Eden. think about how the bible is ripped from schools and replaced by textbooks of things MAN WANTS YOU TO KNOW or better yet...MEMORIZE.

Now into marriage...Marriage seems to be the vows you take before a pastor or priest, which is known as the CEREMONY.(when in fact you can do this alone with you and your mate before god) its also taught that marriage can not really exist if its not documented (licensed) first. now if we read the bible front to back we will not come across any wedding or any signing of papers.  what we will notice is the binding of sex as a symbol of marriage.  we must remember not all sex is considered marriage if that were so FORNICATION would not be mentioned. that's why sex is meant for marriage, marriage is NOT meant to be founded on LUST of the flesh.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 

³For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

 ⁴That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

 ⁵Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

 ⁶That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

 ⁷For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

 ⁸He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

when being attracted to someone peoples lustful desire is to get instant gratification instead of wanting to get to know the person or falling in love with who they are.

some fall in love with there looks, there body's, there overall outer appearance
the lack of compatibility with a person you meet based off those things decreases and is a recipe for disaster
then sooner or later we get to know who they really are AFTER THE ACT OF SEX  AKA SATISFYING YOUR LUSTFUL DESIRES most of the time
and THEN realize THIS IS NOT THE PERSON I WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH.

Genesis 2:7⁷And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

man is a mix of dust and divine breath. our dust is in cahoots with our sinful nature to gratify the
desires of the flesh.. which include (survival instincts, sexuality and passions, our desire to be somebody (self)
this key is for SELF to be under control of gods spirit

our divine nature consists of things like ( dignity gods breath in us, our god given- dominion of the earth,
our destiny which is our god given free will power)
the key is for FREE-WILL to submit to gods authority.

Genesis 3:4-5

 ⁴And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

 ⁵For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

 ⁶And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

 the devil tempts us in the two main areas of our being or personality  one is through our divine nature and the other through dust nature. in the wilderness the devil tempts Jesus  by saying
'if your the son of god (tempting the divine nature) then tell these stones to become bread"

who wouldn't want to eat after 40 days? the devil tempts our dust nature (flesh) our survival techniques go by the need of food.

just as the devil tested Jesus in the flesh..he test us also with things that go against what is written but if you don't know
your bible you do need to know the devil knows it front to back and will use you to go against it. so i say you must know the works of the devil and the works of god so you can overcome Satan's temptations and wicked tricks.

1 Corinthians 6:9-20

 ⁹Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

 ¹⁰Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

 ¹¹And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

 ¹²All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

 ¹³Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

 ¹⁴And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

 ¹⁵Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

 ¹⁶What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

 ¹⁷But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

 ¹⁸Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

 ¹⁹What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

 ²⁰For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

in my OPINION women began to try to take place of a man when a lot of men fell
from there duties of god. getting tempted by the devil with fornication,homosexuality,adultery,
pornography and strip clubs clubs lead by lustful thoughts feeding them causing them to go a stray
of coarse they are not to blame, because women have been taught to please men's eye. being the naked dancers in those clubs, being the main lustful desire of pornography, wearing revealing things appealing to most men's eye. woman are naive in that area taught to be the TEMPTRESS and men fall victim to losing their self-control over a woman.

Malachi 2:13-15

¹³And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

 ¹⁴Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

 ¹⁵And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

My point of this blog was to point out how people can completely be led astray by the devil preventing them from having long lasting marriages. behind spiritual warfare there are evil forces behind every troubled marriage. if sex is for a husband and a wife you must be aware of how much it means to god when its gone about the correct way.  most people including myself have fallen victim to the temptations and lust of sex, does that mean you continue your path of sin? when in fact it goes against what is written. or do you change your ways to become one with god and marry the person you love and make that spiritual covenant?  drop the weddings, and court defined marriages and seek what god considers to be marriage, and stick to who it is for. alot of marriages fail and end in divorce for a number of reasons, but i assure you if those people would have trusted god with their relationship it would have been TO DEATH DO US PART.  the worst part to think about is the vows people take before god then turn around and break them doing exactly what the devil WANTED you to do (DIVORCE). i guess my last verse would be the first verse i opened with.
